Many East Indian wedding ceremonies last 5 to 7 days. Festivities include the Mehendi (traditional hand decoration by Henna), Raas Garba (traditional fold dancing and music), Barat (arrival of the groom on horse or elephant), and many other traditions of garlands, rice, fire, ... sometimes taking up to 16 hours on the wedding day!
